HawaiiBooks.net is a division of David Cheever Marketing (DCM), which was established in 1979.

DCM serves a diverse list of clients providing them with marketing advise and, oftentimes, implementation. These services include marketing plans, product development, marketing research, community relations and public relations.

Cheever has been named "Marketer of the Year, " and "Advertising Person of the Year" by his peers. He also has written many publications, including a series of travel articles that appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser.

Through HawaiiBooks.net, Cheever is able to showcase many of the products he was been involved with, from writing travel guides to marketing coffee from Molokai.

Cheever has lived in the Hawaiian Islands for 35 years. He currently resides in Honolulu with his wife Cindy. All three of his grown children also live in the islands.
